The Refinery acts as the primary feedstock supplier to the Petrochemical Complex as well as responsible for producing petroleum products such as low Sulphur jet fuel, motor gasoline and diesel.
The facility is capable of processing different blends of crudes with a wide range of light to heavy, sweet and sour crude oils.
- The Refinery is responsible in producing petroleum products for domestic consumption such as Gasoline and Diesel.
- The Refinery utilises multi-trains configuration in critical processing units to ensure higher reliability and flexibility during production.
- PRefChem’s Refinery, with Nelson Complexity Index of 9.5 - is capable of producing a large volume of high value products derived from crude oil. Its capacity will be the largest in Malaysia.
- Products such as Propane, LPG and Naphtha products coming from the Refinery will be used as feedstock to the Steam Cracker.
