Majdi graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Imam Mohammed Bin Saud University, Saudi Arabia. His illustrious career started in 1986 as an Accounting Analyst in Saudi Consolidated Electric Company (SCECO). He joined Saudi Aramco as a Project Accountant in 1991 and has held numerous roles in Financial Planning and Reporting, Financial Analysis and Control, Strategic and Tactical Planning, Job Order Costing and Petroleum Accounting functions.

Prior to joining PRefChem, Majdi served as the Chief Financial Officer in Saudi Aramco Nabors Drilling Company (SANAD). Before that, he was the Financial Controller of Saudi Aramco TOTAL Refining, and Petrochemical Company (SATORP). While in SATORP, he  also sat on the Board of Arabian Aramco Total Services Company (AATSC).  He was also previously the Financial Controller of South Rub Al-Khali Company Limited (SRAK).

With almost 35 years experience in various accounting and leadership roles especially within the oil and gas industry, Majdi’s appointment will be instrumental in leading the drive for PRefChem to be a leading world class integrated refinery and petrochemicals producer.
